About Us

Faith Church of Athens is a thriving community of passionate believers who desire to impact their generation in a positive way for the cause of Christ. We are here to emulate the New Testament Church to our generation.

Faith Church of Athens was organically formed on October 21, 2006 in the home of a current church member.

Our Goal

Faith Church exists to enlist, equip and empower.

Enlist is our word for Evangelism. Just as Jesus went about calling men and women to follow Him, so must the church reach out to its generation and recruit them to follow Jesus.

Equip is our word for Discipleship. Jesus taught and equipped His followers to take their place within the kingdom, so must the church prepare and give the tools necessary to each born again believer to be able to find their purpose and take their place within the body of Christ.

Empower is our word for Ministry. Jesus gave His disciples power and permission to be effective within their individual callings, so must the church empower people and give them the opportunity and platform to utilize their God given gifts and callings.
